Capacitor - Dedicated to FoilDrive

The capacitor is identical to the Emissary except for the nose of the board being laminated with S-Glass fiber and a black pigmented epoxy over its closed cell core rather than carbon fiber.

With the unexpected success of the Flux in the FoilDrive community, we've had the chance to learn from this dedicated community of riders. We believe the smaller sizes of the Emissary build on and refine what has made the Flux an outstanding option when paired with a Foildrive. The Capacitor works just as well as the Emissary in wing and prone, they are just very slightly heavier due to the use of glass fiber in the nose area and lack the woven carbon aesthetic in this area.

We're launching these boards in a dedicated construction since the shape allows them to be ridden at an even lower volume than the already very efficient Flux boards. While the Flux works very well with Foildrive when their volume is above 50% of bodyweight in kgs, around this threshold we've found it highly beneficial to have the increased signal transmission into the board due to them being submerged during starts.

For beginner to intermediate Foildrive riders the 60L, 72L, and even 84L Flux are all great choices depending on your skill level and weight. For advanced riders looking for the highest possible performance without compromising battery life, the Capacitor will hit the sweet spot for you. Our sizing recommendation is to aim for around 50% of your bodyweight in kgs.

Dimensions:

Each Capacitor is shipped with our new deckpad material factory installed. Being dedicated wave riding boards, the Capacitors have no strap inserts to maximally reduce weight. For a board more suitable to jumping and freestyle check out the Flux.
