For the seasoned foiler, the Honey Badger provides an major performance boost to the 1050. Higher top speed, improved glide, and more nimble turning imbue the 1050 the performance of a high aspect foil with handling of an aggressive mid-aspect.

While the Large Ahi retains a slight edge in lowering the stall speed of the 1050 and "pumping out of the hole" the Honey Badger is still no slouch in these categories and has proven an exceptionally well balanced, high performance enhancement to the Omen foil system.

For skilled riders we are recommending the Honey Badger as the new standard with 1050, whereas those downsizing to the 1050 from a larger foil and still developing their fundamental foiling skills will appreciate the stability and low end of the Ahi.

The perfect partner to the Smooth Operator 1050.

I’ve spent some time riding the above combo this spring in La Ventana on some fun El Norte winds, and I’ve been impressed with the efficient glide that this combination provides for riding swell. Stable and responsive, it’s a great tail wing to enhance your riding in these conditions. Great addition to the Omen foil family!
